Start of Mod B: Muscular System, Infection Control, Minor Office Surgery, and Pharmacology

Welcome to Mod B!
At this point we have started one whole day of class.  We lost a few students from Mod G and gained a few new students.
Integration is always exciting as students learn how my critical care based skills apply to their fast and furious accumulation of knowledge, clinical skills and professionalism.  There is Never an argument from students over medical professionalism and the commitment to medical assisting classes at Everest.
The newest professional, +Tanya Tolson, has been seen with No Nail Polish!  This coupled with a definite improvement in confidence indicates success into the Medical Assistant career.

So June 25th, 2013 we are going to discover the amazing world of muscle movement!  A recurrent theme in learning assessment has been "what is temperature, really?"  Today, the knowledge will be enhanced with that lovely little chemical compound....ATP!

Great Video on ATP: Thx

Many slides, clinical practice and homework tasks to complete.  We will likely again see the array of commitment and the growth and professionalism or this new group of students!

I am appreciative of the opportunity to instruct as it comes as a great refresher to me as well to cover the content.  I love educating students to become critical thinkers and hopefully leaders within their chosen field.
